The text isn’t transparent, so you can’t see through it. You can see through the background frame of the title because I made it transparent, which you’ll learn about in Chapter 13. If I had left the narration video at its original resolution, which was the same as the Moscow street scenes, it would totally obscure the lower track. I made the narrative on V2 smaller (using the Motion controls you’ll learn about in Chapter 8) by creating what’s commonly referred to as a picture-in-picture. So if the street scenes from Moscow were on V3 instead of V1, you wouldn’t see the title or the narration.Ĭontent on higher tracks obscures content on lower tracks unless the higher tracks are either smaller or transparent. Whatever is on a higher track obscures the content on the lower track. Premiere Pro combines these tracks from the top down. There are three video tracks with content in, V1 has the street scenes from Moscow, V2 has my scintillating narration about the trip, and V3 has the St. A simple Timeline for demonstration purposes.
